If your dentist tells you that you have signs of periodontal disease , or if you experience symptoms like bleeding gums, loose teeth, gum recession, consider seeing a periodontist. You can ask your dentist for a referral or directly contact us.
The best way to prevent periodontal disease is to take good care of your teeth and gums at home. This includes brushing your teeth after every meal and before bedtime, flossing at least once each day, and seeing your dentist or periodontist for regular exams twice a year.
If the missing teeth are not replaced, it will affect your aesthetics as well as function, that is chewing ability Also, over time, the other teeth move into its place, affecting your bite.
